The service is excellent! The Olde Tavern Motel and Inn is owned and operated by the nicest people we met during our trip. The room is clean and comfortable and was one of the cheapest hotels we stayed in on the east coast.
Very pleasant place to stay and great places to eat just around the corner.
Everything was wonderful, but they need to think about replacing mattress. They are just not comfortable unless you are exhausted and would sleep on a cement sidewalk. I know this is an expense, but it would be a wise investment in the long run.
Room was clean and comfortable. Location was right off route 6. The rate was very reasonable.
Continental breakfast was muffin and coffee. Based on the price of the room this was appropriate but would like more options for breakfast.
it was clean, the bed was very comfortable, staff friendly and helpful.
This motel had about the best shower water pressure that I've had anywhere on Cape Cod. That was such a big plus in both our opinions. Staff is very friendly but there was little need to interact so I can't say much. Rooms were very clean, front and back door to a small deck gave a nice cross breeze. The cost of the room was excellent for "prime-time" on the Cape. .
My biggest problem was that the office didn't open until 8:30 AM and I like my coffee earlier, but there is a Dunkin Donuts half a block up the street so problem solved
Very pleasant hotel. Nice pool.
Old TV. Too little for the size of the room.
Convenience to my friends home
Depressing room, grungy blankets, awful ceiling - hated lying on bed and seeing it - all in all very low end
We had the grandkids with us, they loved the pool and we loved the location. Motel is close to everything.
We had a great stay, very happy.
Location - private pool
Decks need to be upgraded. there should be a walkway to the pool not walking over uneven ground.
The add said that the room came with breakfast, and it didnt.
Quiet, nice pool
Needs electrical upgrades, noisy box air conditioner in window, no coffeemaker in room
Not much. My sister and I needed a two day stay before we could get into our campsite. The motel was close to where we needed to be and the price at the time I thought was good. I stayed a third night down the street for $25 less and it was a palace in comparison. They are not kidding when they say Old. Forget trying to plug your laptop in the outlets are old. We had to unplug the fridge in order to do so. They claim there is continental breakfast...but they don't put that on until 8:30am. We had to go out and buy a coffee maker, and had to plug it in on the back of the toilet in the bathroom! The sheets were clean, but thats about all that was good about it.
Close to friends we were visiting.
Breakfast was supposed to be included!!!!! No coffee until 9:00AM. Breakfast was small pre-packaged type muffin....What kind was a mystery! Had to go to the office to borrow a hair dryer. We were told breakfast was available at 8:30 AM....Office was locked until 9:00AM. Air conditioner was unbearably load. Mattress felt lumpy with no give. My husband could barely get out of the bed in the morning. Bathroom was tiny with no counter to put toiletries down, just a small sink next to the toilet. There were two other doors in our room, apparently to adjoining rooms. Did not make one feel very secure that someone wouldn't open one of them.
Convenient location Quiet Pool was refreshing
Very tired/worn accomodations
The price and the location.
The room was shabby; Brandon talks way too much and isn't around enough; they advertise "breakfast included" which a) didn't start until 8:30 am (really 8:45) on a Wednesday; b) was hot water which wasn't at all hot, coffee and small greasy loaves of something -- complete false advertising; no coffee maker or hair dryer in room; ambiance is very low- class ... What's to like?
